Falcon Valley

Falcon Valley
Oil on canvas
72 x 44 in

The title of this painting comes from the two immature gyrfalcons nesting in a cave near the central tower who daily screamed their displeasure at the human intruders in their space. One memorable evening they were harried by a group of three jaegers who were in turn harried by some marlins, smaller, even more aggressive birds.
